Best for Lower Crowds: Late January Through Mid-February
The weeks after New Year’s and before Presidents’ Day tend to have some of the lowest crowds of the year, with genuinely shorter standby lines across all four parks.
Best for Mild Weather and Moderate Crowds: September Through Early November
Fall offers a genuine sweet spot of cooler weather, lower crowds and Halloween-season events, before holiday crowds pick up in mid-November.
Worst for Crowds: Summer and Major Holidays
June through August, along with Thanksgiving, Christmas and spring break weeks, bring the largest crowds and highest prices — genuinely worth avoiding if flexibility allows.
