Walt Disney World is genuinely its own destination — four theme parks, two water parks and dozens of resort hotels spread across a property larger than many cities.

The Four Theme Parks

Magic Kingdom is the classic Disney park built around Cinderella Castle. EPCOT combines world showcase pavilions with innovation-themed attractions. Hollywood Studios centers on movie and TV-themed lands, including Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Animal Kingdom blends a real safari experience with rides and Pandora: The World of Avatar.

Where to Stay

Disney resorts are grouped into value, moderate and deluxe tiers, all offering perks like early park entry. Staying off-property in the wider Orlando area can save money but loses some of the Disney-specific benefits.

When Is the Best Time to Visit?

Late January through mid-February and September through early November tend to have lower crowds and prices than summer or major holiday periods.

How Long Should You Spend?

4-5 days is enough to cover all four parks at a reasonable pace, with an extra day or two if you want to add a water park or revisit favorite attractions.
